The three questions we get

How much does the Mark cost?
Nothing, and it never will. It is not a paid tier with a story attached — there is no checkout path that produces one. Three accepted Returns & Reports is the only route.
Do I have to buy anything to join?
No. A Tribe Account is free and the collections are open to everyone regardless. You can file reports and earn the Mark without ever placing an order, which is deliberate.
What actually counts as a Return & Report?
A coordinate, a date, and an honest account of what happened. Photographs help. Distance and difficulty are not scored — a report from a parking lot at 4am can be accepted and a summit report can be returned.
